The mission of the Virginia Beach City Public School School Counseling Program is to partner with parents, community, faculty, and staff to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing academic, career, and personal/social development of all students thus preparing them with the knowledge and skills to be productive members of society.

Ms. MarinoMilitary and Family Life Counselor Program (MFLC)
Supporting military youth and their families is the goal of this program. Services are kept confidential and include concerns such as stress management, decision making skills, social skills, communication skills, conflict resolution, peer relationships, self-esteem, identifying feelings, and time management, issues related to deployment, reintegration, and/or relocation, and positive coping strategies.
